A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS NEW AND USED
VEHICLES UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACE-
MENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized replacement
of various new and used vehicles; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited for
various new and used vehicles; and
WHEREAS, public bids have been received by the General
Services department staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following action be
taken:
Purchase the following awards of bid:
One 1/2 ton short bed mini pickup for use by Code Enforcement
(Planning Dept.)
Wayne Cross Ford, low bidder $8,067.36
One 1/2 ton long bed mini pickup for use by Pickleweed Park
(Recreation Dept.)
Wayne Cross Ford, low bidder $8,200.90
One 2 passenger cargo van for use by the Police Dept.
Wayne Cross Ford, low bidder $12,822.07
Two 2 door sedans for use by building inspection (Public Works
Dept.)
Wayne Cross Ford, low bidder $15,196.92
Three 4 door compact station wagons, two for use by Engineering
Division (Public Works Dept.) and one for use in the vehicle pool
(General Services Dept.)
Wayne Cross Ford, low bidder $22,338.13
One used 1986 4 door Oldsmobile sedan
Hertz Corporation, low bidder $13,778.94
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City, held on the 18th day of Mav
1987, by the following vote, to wit:
