A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF NEW AND USED
VEHICLES UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized replacement
of new and used vehicles; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicated
for new vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Public bids have been received by the General
Services department staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken:
Purchase the following awards of bid:
One new 2-4 yard dump truck for use by the Public Works Department,
ISI Inc., Low Bidder $27,724.30
Two used full-size station wagons, one for use by the Fire
Department and one for use by the Recreation Department from Steve
Snyder Chevrolet, Low Bidder that meets specifications
$27,794.66
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City, held on
the lst day of June 1987, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Nave, Willms & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli
