WHEREAS, John A. Govi has been with the California State
Automobile Association for 32 years, and for 15 of t^nge years bas
been District Manager for Ptz3rin County: and
WHEREAS, for many years Mr. Govi haz:; served the greater
San Rafael community through his r_,enrbershin with many boac.:1s,
a ssociati ons. and clubs: and
WHEREAS, he served as Chairman of the San r.a fael Parks and
Recreation Commission, o:, which lie -served for four and ct half
vears, and is fouler Chairman and current mrusrtee of the
Marin/Sonoma Mosquito Abatement District; and
WHEREAS, aided by his personal aualities as an energetic,
conscientious, willing worl�er, he has attained .many outstanding
personal and professional achievernents;
NOW, THEREFORE, CARE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
€ Council expresses its appreciation to John Govi for his con• -
I siderable contributions to our community, and extends its best
wishes to him on the occasion of his retirement from the
E Califcrnia State Automobile Association.
