A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
SIX (6) USED VEHICLES FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT USE,
INVESTIGATION DIVISION UTILIZING
EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS AND SPECIAL POLICE FUNDS
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids solicited
for the above mentioned equipment; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the General Services
Department staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken: Purchase the following
award of bid for six used vehicles from Avis Rent A Car, Inc.
for the amount of $46,141.80 (tax included) per the following
detail: One, Pontiac Boneville 1985 Sedan, $7,050.00; One,
Pontiac Grand Prix 1985 Sedan, $6,940.00; One, Pontiac Boneville
1985 Sedan, $7,050.00; One, Oldsmobile Cutlass 1985 Sedan,
$7,460.00; One, Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1985 Sedan, $6,950.00;
One, Ford Thunderbird 1985 Sedan, $8,080.00.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City on Monday , the 16th day of June ,
1986, by the following vote, to wit:
