A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF RESOLUTION
NO. 7354 DATED JUNE 2ND, 1986 FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (1) 1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCK UTILIZING
EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7354 authorized the purchase of
one 1/2 ton G.M.C. pickup truck from Helton Pontiac GMC for
the amount of $9,052.39; and
WHEREAS, the manufacturer (G.M.C. Corp.) has refused to
accept the order for this vehicle as quoted by the vendor (V6
gasoline engine); and
WHEREAS, due to change in production schedule by the manu-
facturer (G.M.C. Corp.) will only accept the order for this
type of vehicle with a (V8 gasoline engine); and
WHEREAS, the revised change in production schedule reflects
an increase in price of ($396.60) or a total price of $9,445.99;
and
WHEREAS, at this revised price ($9,445.99) this vendor
is the low responsible bidder that meets the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken: Authorize the
Amendment of Resolution No. 7354 to purchase the following
Award of Bid, one 1/2 ton GMC pickup truck per specifications
and bid received from Helton Pontiac GMC for the amount of
$9445.99.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on Monday, the 16th day of June
1986, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
