HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 7374 (Underground Utility Allocations)RESOLUTION NO. 7374 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY OF MARIN BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTINUE THE SHARING OF PG&E RULE20A UNDERGROUND UTILITY ALLOCATIONS WITH THE CITIES OF MARIN WHEREAS, pursuant to the Board of Supervisors' Resolution No. 80-65 the County of Marin has for the 10 year period between 1979 and 1988 shared on a "50-50" basis with the cities of Marin its PG&E Rule 20A allocations for undergrounding utilities; and WHEREAS, many worthwhile projects have been completed utilizing such shared funds; and WHEREAS, some cities are in need of the continuation of such fund sharing in order to complete meaningful projects in their jurisdictions in the forthcoming years; and WHEREAS, the projects completed to date and proposed for the future are on arterial or collector streets of City/County significance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby requests the Marin County Board of Supervisors to continue the sharing of PG&E Rule 20A allocations for a 10 year period commencing in 1989. I, JEANNE M.
