A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COPY CENTER
REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT
ABSTAINING FROM USE OF THE PUBLIC BID PROCESS
UTILIZING REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized replacement
of the duplicating equipment for the Copy Center in the 1986/87
budget; and
WHEREAS, the Multigraphic Duplexing System 7 qualifies
as a sole source product; and
WHEREAS, the public bid process would serve no avail
and not serve the best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the following action be taken: Purchase the following
equipment by negotiating a purchase with the Sole Source vendor,
Multigraphics of South San Francisco. One (1) Multigraphics
System Seven duplexing offset duplicator with No. 67-180 Multigraphics
Sorter delivered and installed for the amount of $89,774.78
tax included.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on the 21st day of July, 1986 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: Councilmembers: None
