TO
MARIN HERITAGE
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage is a non-profit community group dedicated to
preserving the historic and architectural heritage of Marin;
and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage has devoted uncounted volunteer hours, and
thousands of dollars to restoring the Greenhouse on the
grounds of the Falkirk Community Cultural Center; and
WHEREAS, after five years of work, the Greenhouse is fully restored;
and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage's efforts in preserving and restoring the
Greenhouse have enhanced the quality of life of all of the
residents of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby expresses its appreciation to Marin
Heritage for that organization's fine work in restoring and
preserving the Falkirk Greenhouse.
