RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING THE BID FOR
PROJECT ENTITLED "REROOFING FIRE STATION
NO. 7 - 1986
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared and
bids solicited for reroofing Fire Station No. 7; and
WHEREAS, on September 30, 1986, one bid was received and
publicly opened; and
WHEREAS, the low bid was far in excess of available
budgeted project funds; and
WHEREAS, said budget deficit is of a magnitude so as to
render the project unfeasible; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the City's best interest to reject
the bid received and rebid the project again next spring.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that that bid received on September 30, 1986 from
Henris Supply, Inc. for reroofing Fire Station No. 7 is hereby
rejected.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said Council that staff is
authorized to again call for bids next spring for said project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday, the 6th day of October 1986, by the following vote, to wit:
