A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with
AMOS SHATTUCK TO COMPLETE A RESEARCH PROJECT FOR COMMERCIAL AND
INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY (@ $15.00 per Hour, not to exceed $2,000, Cost
to be shared with the San Rafael 7\aenc-j;
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday the ls- day of December
19 86 , by the following vote, to wit:

I, Amos Shattuck, will undertake a project for the City of San
Rafael, as an independent contractor, to review the files in the
County Assessor's Office to retrieve the following information for
commercial and industrial properties:
Building Square Feet
Lot Square Feet
Year of Construction
Year Remodeled
Quality Rating
Existing Use
The project will involve a maximum of 133 hours at a fee of $15 per
hour.
I, Amos Shattuck, agree to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend the
City of San Rafael, its officers and employees from any claims, loss,
liability and damages arising from my employment on this project.
Amos Shattuck and the City of San Rafael agree to submit any claims
arising under this contract to binding arbitration pursuant to the
current provisions of the California Code of Civil Procedure and any
successor statutes.
