Home My WebLink AboutCC Resolution 7286 (Career Criminal Apprehension Program)RESOLUTION NO. 7286 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION FOR CAREER CRIMINAL APPRE- HENSION PROGRAM (C -CAP) (PHASE II) WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael desires to undertake a certain project designated San Rafael Career Criminal Apprehension Program to be funded, in part, from funds made available through Chapter 1292, 1982 Statutes, Career Criminal Apprehension Program as amended, and administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of San Rafael is authorized on its behalf to submit the attached application for grant funds for law enforcement purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of San Rafael the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any extensions or amendments thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project (including any extensions or amendments thereof), and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body. I, JEANNE M.
