A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN
A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR CITY OWNED STORAGE SPACE
UNDER THE EAST RAMP OF THE LOOTENS STREET PARKING
STRUCTURE WITH THE NINE 0 NINE FOOD COMPANY
(FOR $75 PER MONTH FOR A PERIOD OF 4 YEARS)
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has title to property
improved with a two-level parking structure located at Lootens
and Third Street; and
WHEREAS, this structure contains two small storage compartments
with impaired headroom; and
WHEREAS, the Nine 0 Nine Food Company has requested the
rental of one of those compartments in connection with the
operation of its business at 909 Fourth Street; and
and
WHEREAS, the City has no known need for these compartments;
WHEREAS, the City will not be obliged to make any leasehold
improvements to make these compartments usable:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council authorizes the City Manager to execute a lease with
Nine 0 Nine Foods for $75 per month for a period of four years.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City on Monday , the Third ,
day of February , 1986, by the following vote, to wit:
