A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
CERTIFYING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN
ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14 (ZONING)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO CONSERVE HOUSING BY ADDITION OF
SECTIONS 14.44.020.II.e, 14.47.020.II.f, 14.56.025.n
AND 14.75.020.1
WHEREAS, the 1985 Housing Element and 1985 Annual
Housing Report identify the need for greater City controls
in order to conserve housing; and
WHEREAS, an Initial Environmental Study was prepared
in accordance with the State EIR Guidelines to assess potential
environmental impacts of the proposal; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds there is no substantial
evidence in the record showing that the project may have a
significant effect on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael
City Council approved the Negative Declaration for an Ordinance
to amend Title 14 (Zoning) of the Municipal Code by addition
of Sections 14.44.020.II.e, 14.47.020.II.f, 14.56.025.n and
14.75.020.1.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on Tuesdav , the 18th day of February ,
1986, by the following vote, to wit:
