RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING BIDS FOR PROJECT
ENTITLED "CITY OF SAN RAFAEL FIRE STATION
NO. 1 AND POLICE SERVICES RENOVATION."
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has previously
authorized City Staff to solicit bids for the renovation and remodeling
of Fire Station No. 1 and Police Department facilities at City Hall;
and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications were prepared and bids
solicited for said work; and
WHEREAS, on January 17, 1986, bids were received and publi-
cally opened; and
WHEREAS, the low bid was far in excess of available
budgeted project funds; and
WHEREAS, said budget deficit is of a magnitude so as to
render the total project unfeasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that all those bids received on January 17, 1986 for
the San Rafael Fire Station No. 1 and Police Services Renovation
Project are hereby rejected.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Tuesday, the 18th day of February, 1986, by the following vote, to
wit:
