RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING SUPPORT OF APPLICATION
BY SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CALIFORNIA
MAIN STREET PROGRAM.
The City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, here-
inafter referred to as "the City" does hereby declare, find and
determine that:
WHEREAS, the California Main Street Program has been
established in the California Department of Commerce to assist small
cities and towns to develop a public/private effort to revitalize
the "Main Street" areas, and whereas, five California cities and/or
towns will be selected to participate in the program for a three-
year period, and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency will be apply-
ing for acceptance into the Main Street Program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California supports the application of -the
San Rafael Redevelopment Agency for acceptance into the California
Main Street Program.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of San Rafael held on the 21st day of April, 1986, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
