TO
ELAINE SPILLANE
WHEREAS, Elaine Spillane has served as the Executive Vice -President
for the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce since July 1982; and
WHEREAS, many accomplishments for the Chamber occurred under
Elaine's leadership, not the least of which include the
relocation of the Chamber office to a prime downtown location,
a substantial increase in Chamber membership and attendance at
monthly luncheons and mixers, the reorganization of the Board
of Directors, and the increased visibility of the Chamber as an
asset to the Community; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure with the Chamber, Elaine has conscien-
tiously and diligently performed the duties of Executive Vice -
President with the utmost concern for the prosperity and
well-being of the businesses within San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael expresses its deep and sincere appreciation to
Elaine Spillane for her three years of service to the San Rafael
Chamber of Commerce, and for her contributions to the community
and our organization. We wish Elaine success in her new
position and in all future endeavors.
