RESOLUTION ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING AND
VACATING 10' WIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT,
MAP OF QUAIL HILL, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the
3rd day of September, 1985, adopted Resolution No. 7174 entitled,
"RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE 10' WIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT
- MAP OF QUAIL HILL, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA"; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San
Rafael, California, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation
as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law and
said Resolution No. 7174 at which hearing the Council of the City of
San Rafael heard evidence offered by persons interested; and
WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that
the following described public utilities easement is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. The the following described public utilities easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
2. That the following described public utilities easement
is hereby ordered closed, abandoned and vacated;
3. That the public utilities easement closed, abandoned
and vacated is described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of San Rafael held on the 7th day of October, 1985, by the following
vote, to wit:

DESCRIPTION OF PUBLIC UTILITIES
EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED
All of that real property situate in the City of San Rafael, County of
Marin, State of California described as follows:
A portion of that certain 10' PUE as said easement %laFashown on that
certain Map entitled "Map of Quail Hill, San Rafael, California",
recorded May 24, 1972 in Volume 15 of Maps at page 22, San Rafael,
California the centerline of which is more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 2 as s5j1441pt is shown on
the hereinabove described map; thence along the Northerly line of said
lot South 760 30' 00" East 54.38 feet to the TRUE -POINT OF
BEGINNING ; thence leaving said Northerly line along the centerline of
the hereinabove described PUE South 140 13' 00" West 23.44 feet; thence
South 260 29, 00" Weft 49.70 feet; thence South 360 52' 00" West 54.40
feet; thence South 26 41' 00" West 42.77 feet; thence South 460 53' 00"
West 13.93 feet; thence South 700 45' 00" West 3.85 feet to the
intersection of the hereinabove described centerline witr a Westerly line
of said Lot 2 and the terminus of this description.
