RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $5,000 AS A CONTRIBUTION TO MARIN HERITAGE FOR
INSTALLATION OF GLASS IN THE FALKIRK GREENHOUSE
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is the owner of the
Falkirk Community Cultural Center, a nationally registered
historic landmark; and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage is a group whose purpose is to
preserve the architectural heritage of Marin County; and
WHEREAS, the City has granted Marin Heritage permission
to restore the Greenhouse on the Falkirk grounds; and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage has requested $5,000 from the
City to help defray the cost of installing glass in the
Greenhouse.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby appropriates $5,000 as a
contribution to Marin Heritage to have a licensed, fully insured
professional glazer install glass in the Falkirk Greenhouse.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on Monday the
Fourth day of November , 1985, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS : Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
