A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO BE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore adopted
Ordinance No. 1520 declaring that there is a need for the Indus-
trial Development Authority of the City of San Rafael (the
"Authority") created by the California Industrial Development
Financing Act, California Government Code Sections 91500, et seq.
(the "Act"), and declaring that the Authority shall function in
the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, this City Council is authorized by Section
91523 of the Act to declare itself to be the Board of Directors
of the Authority; and
WHEREAS, this City Council finds that the public
interest will be served and the public health, safety and welfare
will be promoted in an effective manner if this City Council
declares itself to be the Board of Directors of the Authority;
The City Council of the City of San Rafael does
resolve as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section
91523 of the Act, the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby declares itself to be the Board of Directors of the
Industrial Development Authority of the City of San Rafael, and
all the rights, powers, privileges, duties, liabilities, disabil-
ities, and immunities vested in the Board of Directors of the
Authority by the Act shall be vested in this City Council as such
Board of Directors.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.

I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the 2nd day of December 1985, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

I, the undersigned, the City Clerk of the City of
San Rafael, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full,
true and correct copy of a resolution duly introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of San Rafael
duly and regularly held on the 2nd day of December

1985, and duly adopted and regularly held on the 2nd day of
December , 1985, of each of which meetings all of the
members of said City Council had due notice and at each of
which a majority thereof were present; and that said
resolution was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: None
ABSENT:None
I further certify that I have carefully compared
the same with the original minutes of said meeting on file
and of record in my office; that said resolution is a full,
true and correct copy of the original resolution so adopted
and entered in said minutes; and that said resolution has not
been amended, modified or rescinded since the date of its
adoption and is now in full force and effect.
