RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS
UNDER THE EXTENDED DAY CARE SERVICES BILL
(ROBERTI SB303)
WHEREAS, the legislature of the State of California
has enacted the Roberti (SB303) Extended Day Care Services
Bill, which provides funding for Child Care programs; and
WHEREAS the State Department of Education has been
delegated the responsibility for the administration of the
program in cooperation with local school districts; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Child Care Program
meets the basic requirements and criteria for funding
eligibility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael gives staff permission to submit a grant
in the amount of $44,149 to the State of California for
Extended Day Care Service programs.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday , the 16th day
of December , 1986, by the following vote, to -.wit:
