RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF
A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES
as follows:
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute, on
behalf of the City of San Rafael, a lease or agreement with
SAN RAFAEL SANITATION DISTRICT FOR
MAINTENANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF DISTRICT
OWNED FACILITIES (SECOND AMENDMENT TO JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENTS)
a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incor-
porated herein by this reference.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael, California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 4th day of March, 1985,
by the following vote, to wit:

SECOND PMENDMENT TO
JOINT POWERS AGREEMENTS
THIS AGREEMENT, dated March 4, 1985, is between the CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL, a municipal corporation of the State of California
(City), and SAN RAFAEL SANITATION DISTRICT, a duly organized and
existing Sanitation District under the laws of the State of
California (District);
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the First Amendment to Joint Powers Agreements,
dated December 17, 1985, by and between the City and District pro-
vide for the maintenance of District owned pump stations and force
mains; and
WHEREAS, the District is now desirous of having the City
provide administrative services as well
NOW THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows:
1. The First Amendment to.Joint Powers Agreements, dated
December 17, 1984, will remain in full force and effect.
2. Payment to the City for providing administrative services
will be as described in the budget proposal by the City
(See Exhibit A). The City will bill the District monthly.
Each of the parties hereto have caused this JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT to
be executed by their officers, duly authorized, the day and year first
above written.
