CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
MARY GASSAWAY
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council voted on January 21, 1980 to
appoint Mary Gassaway as a charter member of the San Rafael
Police Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mary Gassaway's colleagues on the Police Advisory
Commission recognized her by electing her chairperson in
1981; and
WHEREAS, Mary Gassaway has contributed many hours of service and
dedication to the Commission and San Rafael Police Depart-
ment; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of Mary Gassaway and her concern to
improve the quality of life in her community, she has
assisted in making San Rafael a better community in which to
live.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, by adoption of this Resolution, commends
Mary Gassaway for her record of voluntary service on the
Police Advisory Commission for the City of San Rafael.
