TO
ALEX MacMILLAN
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council voted on January 21, 1980 to
appoint Alex MacMillan as a charter member of the San Rafael
Police Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, Alex Ma.cMillan's colleagues on the Police Advisory
Commission recognized him by electing him chairman in 1980;
and
WHEREAS, Alex MacMillan has contributed many hours of service and
dedication to the Commission and San Rafael Police Depart-
ment; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of Alex Mact,4illan and his concern to
improve the quality of life in his community, he has assisted
in making San Rafael a better community in which to live.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, by adoption of this Resolution, commends Alex
MacMillan for his record of voluntary service on the Police
Advisory Commission for the City of San Rafael.
