RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY FOR A
$13,013 GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL
TO IMPLEMMENT A FALKIRK MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM,
WHEREAS, the Falkirk Community Cultural Center was established
for the community to provide a broad range of cultural activities';
and
WHEREAS, a membership program would provide additional
funds to support Falkirk cultural programs; and
WHEREAS, a membership program would serve as an outreach
vehicle to increase public awareness of the arts; and
WHEREAS, the California Arts Council last year provided
grant support to Falkirk for development of a masterplan for
a membership program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby authorizes staff to apply for
a California Arts Council grant to implement a Falkirk membership
program.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City on Monday , the 15th day of April
1985, by the following vote, to wit:
