A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
NAMING SILVEIRA PARKWAY AT SMITH RANCH HILLS
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1985, the Planning Commission
reviewed the proposed Smith Ranch Hills development and referred
to the City Council the naming of a future arterial along the
railroad right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, City Police and Fire Department staffs,
adjacent property owners and County and Novato representatives
have been consulted; and
WHEREAS, the Silveira Ranch has long been an important
landholding in this portion of San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of San Rafael approves the proposed Silveira Parkway
road name.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City on Monday , the First day of July
1985, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS : Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS : Breiner
