RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
DISBANDING THE SAN RAFAEL CITIZENS'
ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON ENERGY
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Citizens' Advisory Committee on
Energy, since October, 1980, satisfactorily served as an Advisory
Committee to the City Council providing input for the development of
incorporating energy saving into the City's general plan; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided a valuable
service in helping assist City staff in auditing the City's public
buildings for energy conservation and advising in the relamping of the
San Rafael City Hall light fixtures, which resulted in a 30% overall
savings in energy costs; and
WHEREAS, due to new State building and construction
requirements related to energy efficiency, the Advisory Committee's
review of energy conservation measures is no longer necessary, as it
was initially; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Advisory Committee's members
expired in June 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council does hereby disband the San Rafael Citizens' Advisory
Committee on Energy.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday, the fourth day of February, 1985, by the
following vote, to wit:
