HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 6703 (East SR Neighborhood).- RESOLUTION NO. 6703 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION (NEIGHBORHOOD 30 PLAN) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows: The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of San Rafael, a contract, lease or agreement with the San Francisco Foundation for a $42,000 grant to help prepare a plan for the East San Rafael Neighborhood. a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof. I, JEANNE M. If necessary, an audit may be required. Payments on the grant are contingent on the submission of progress reports and special renditions as noted above. Guidelines on howto prepare the reports will be mailed to your agency one month before the reports are due. 6. Monitoring & Evaluation In order to assess the effectiveness of our grants, the Foundation cony ntoniutr or conduct an evaluation of the program funded by this grant, which may include visits by representatives of the Foundation to observe the gnmtet s program procedures and operations and to discuss the program with the grantee's personnel. 7. Multi -liar Grants It is the usual practice to require an et aluation of the gru tue's performance during the first year of a Grant before making payment for any successive year. 9. Publicity We suggest that the grantee accept respon• sibiiity for media coverage of the grunt. Any statement nhoul lilt- Foundation's policies, interests or personnel should he cleared with the Foundations officesASe ask that materials produced credit the Foundation's support.
