RESOLUTION NO. 6710
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ACCEPTING GRANT OF STORM SEWER EASE14ENT FROM FRANCES H.
VIGIL, 151 DUBOIS STREET, SAN RAFAEL CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience and welfare require
that the easement hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for
the benefit of the public of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, California, that that certain grant of
right-of-way for the maintenance, repair, reconstruction and re-
newal of public storm sewer, executed by FRANCES H. VIGIL
to the City of San Rafael, dated
December 1 , 1983 , be and the same is hereby accepted
and the Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause said con-
veyance to be duly recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of Marin, State of•California, forthwith upon the
adoction of this resolution.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly

GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND MAiNTENANCE OF STORM DRAIN
FRANCES H. VIGIL, (hereinafter
called "Grantor" without regard to number or gender) for an adequate consideration
hereby GRANTS and conveys to the CiTY OF SAN RAFAEL, a municipal corporation, an
EASEMENT over the strip of land hereinafter described for the purpose of laying
down, installing, constructing, renewing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing and
using a public storm draln on or under said strip of land together with the
right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom, in, on and across said strip of
land and the contiguous real property of Grantor.
Said strip of land is located in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin,
State of California, and is more particularly described aq follows:
Beginning at the most northeasterly cc ^ler of Parcel 2 as shown upon the parcel nap filed for
record May 7, 1982 in Bcok 20 of Parcel Yaps at page 42, Marin County Records, and running
thence, North 63004' Wes= 7.50 feet to the tr':e point of beginning, running thence thereon
1. North 21034' West, 43.34 feet to a _oirt on the northerly boundary line of Lot 9 of Map
of Bre_ :arae Terrace Unit One filed No erber 2, 1949 in Book 6 of Record Maps upon page
91, Marin County Recor=s, runnin_ _'pence along the northerly boundary line of said Lot 9
2. South 81039' West 10.27 feet, rL=.ing thence departing from the said northerly boundary
line of Lot 9 in the so_zieasterll direction
3. South 21034' East 31.39 feet to a _o:nt on northeasterly boundary line of said Parcel 2,
running thence along the said nor=:easterly boundary line of said Parcel 2
4. South 63004' East, 15.09 feet to the true point of beginning.
Grantor shall not plant, place or deposit anything in or on said strip of
land which will damage or interfere with any of the rights granted hereunder nor
shall Grantor erect or construct any building or other structure or drill or
operate any well within said strip of land.
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and bind the heirs,
successors, and assigns of the respective parties hereto.
