JVIIEREAS, on the 21st of December, 1983, FIRE CAP`T'AIN
PAUL SASSE retired as a member of the San Rafael
Fire Department after having rendered twenty-nine
years and nine months of able, dedicated service
to the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN SASSE, by virtue of his expertise as a
professional and dedicated fi re fi ghtcr, made
numerous contributions to the advancement of the
Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN SASSE's dedication to duty provided the
guidance and stability needed as the Department
moved from its "volunteer" days to its present
status.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE!) that the City Council wishes
CAPTAIN SASSE good luck in his retirement and
extends to him our sincere appreciation for his
contribution to the betterment of the Fire
Department.
