A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
CERTIFYING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR
REZONING OF PROPERTY ALONG IRWIN STREET WEST
OF BRET HARTE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 14 of the San Rafael Muni-
cipal Code, an amendment to rezone property along Irwin Street
west of Bret Harte Village, County Assessor's Parcel 13-271-29,
was received; and
WHEREAS, an Initial Environmental Study was prepared in
accordance with the State EIR guidelines to assess potential
environmental impacts of the proposal; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was
prepared to address potential impacts. A 30 day public review
period was observed; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held three public
hearings to review the Environmental Impact Report for complete-
ness; and
WHEREAS, on November 29, 1983, the Planning Commission
found that the proposal would not create any significant adverse
impacts and recommended to the City Council (7-0) the certifi-
cation of an EIR; and
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1984, the City Council con-
curred with the Planning Commission recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael
City Council certifies the Environmental Impact Report for
Z81-24 and TS80-4.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday , the 16th day of January 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:
