A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF RADIO COMMUNICATION
EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICE AND POLICE
DEPARTMENT SERVICE
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff
to solicit bids for radio communication equipment for Fire Department
Service and Police Department Service; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited
for this item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the following action be taken:
1. The Motorola Communications Engrs. Inc., be designated
as low bidder for three (3) motorcylce radios and one (1)
Base Station; above equipment for Police Department Service
for a total price of $8,404.74.
2. The Radio Communications Service be designated as low
bidder for six (6) Base Stations and one (1) Walkie-Talkie;
above equipment for Fire Department Service for a total price
of $4,339.00.
3. The Silverado Avionics Inc., be designated as low bidder
for two (2) Mobile Radios and two (2) White Net Mobile Radios
for Fire Department Service for a total price of $3,029.37.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on the sixth
vote, to wit:
