RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER
VACATION OF PORTION OF JACOBY
STREET, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, it appears that that portion of Jacoby Street, lying
southwesterly of Andersen Drive and southeasterly of Simms Street,
is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of the STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941
of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby declares
its intention to vacate said portion of Jacoby Street which is herein-
after described;
3. That the 19th day of March, 1984, at 8:00 p.m., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, San Rafael, California, is hereby fixed as the
time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the said proposed vacation.
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael
shall post conspicuously notices of street vacation along the lines of
said portion of Jacoby Street proposed to be vacated, which notices
shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart but at
least three (3) notices shall be posted as to said portion of Jacoby
Street proposed to be vacated. The said notice shall state time and
place of hearing as hereinabove provided, and the adoption of the
within Resolution of Intention.
5. That said portion of Jacoby Street proposed to be vacated
is shown on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference as though set forth in full.
6. That a map or plan showing said portion of Jacoby Street
proposed to be vacated is on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael, California.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the 21st day of February, 1984, by the following
vote, to wit:
