RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT OF DRAINAGE
AND MAINTENANCE EASEMENT FROM GOLDEN
GATE BRIDGE, HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION
DISTRICT (Andersen Drive)
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience and welfare require
that the easement hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for
the benefit of the public of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, California, that that certain grant of
right of way for the maintenance, repair, reconstruction and renewal
of a public storm drainage facility, executed by Golden Gate Bridge,
Highway and Transportation District to the City of San Rafael, dated
April 19, 1984, be and the same is hereby accepted and the Clerk of
said City is hereby directed to cause said conveyance to be duly
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin,
State of California, forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 21st day of May, 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE. HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT (hereinafter
called 11Grantor" without regard to number or gender) for an adequate consideration
hereby GRANTS and conveys to the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a municipal corporation, an
EASEMENT over the strip of land hereinafter described for the purpose of laying
down, installing, constructing, renewing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing and
using a public storm drain on or under said strip of land together with the
right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom, in, on and across said strip of
land and the contiguous real property of Grantor.
Said strip of land is located in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin.
State of California, and is more particularly described a; follows:

Grantor shall not plant, place or deposit anything in or on said strip of
land which will damage or interfere with any of the rights granted hereunder nor
shall Grantor erect or construct any building or other structure or drill or
operate any well within said strip of land.
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and bind the heirs,
successors, and assigns of the respective parties hereto.

SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
Real property situate in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of the parcel of land conveyed to the
Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District, a public corporation,
by Deed recorded on July 28, 1971 in Book 2505 of Official Records at Page 526,
Marin County Records; said corner also being on the easterly right of way line
of Andersen Drive; thence leaving said southerly corner (2505 OR 526) and said
easterly right of way line North 46°01'15" East, 283.23 feet; thence North 51027118"
East, 345.00 feet to the westerly line of a 60 foot drainage parcel, deeded to the
City of San Rafael in Book 2593 of Official Records at Page 437, Marin County
Records; thence along said westerly line (2593 OR 437) South 38132'42" East,
60.00 feet; thence leaving said westerly line (2593 OR 437) South 51027'18" West,
345.00 feet; thence South 52038108" West, 276.89 feet to a point on said easterly
right of way line of Andersen Drive; thence along said easterly right of way line
North 49006146" West, 26.00 feet; and thence North 491106'00" West, 1.95 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
Containing 0.7564 acres, more or less.
