A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION
FOR THE 1984 SAN RAFAEL RECREATION ELEMENT
WHEREAS, the notice of the preparation of the Recreation
Element Negative Declaration was sent to major property owners,
homeowners associations, interested agencies and groups; and copies
of the Initial Study/Negative Declaration were sent to the Clear-
inghouse, local governmental agencies and school and community
service districts on October 10, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the mandatory 30 day State review period ended
November 15, 1983, with no comments received in response to the
Negative Declaration; and
WHEREAS, the Negative Declaration evaluates environ-
mental effects of the proposed Recreation Element and concludes
that all environmental effects discussed have been found not to be
significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE City Council
certifies the Recreation Element Negative Declaration as ade-
quately assessing environmental effects of the proposed Recreation
Element and properly concluding that adoption of the Recreation
Element would not result in any significant adverse environmental
impacts.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on MONDAY , the 21ST day of MAY 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:
