RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF
ROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND SLOPE EASEMENT -
ANDERSEN DRIVE EXTENSION, SAN RAFAEL,
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, necessity
and welfare require that the road right of way and slope easement
hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used for the benefit of the
public of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, TEHREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California, does hereby accept that certain
deed of roadway right of way and slope easement for the Andersen
Drive Extension for and on behalf of the City of San Rafael, all
as more particularly described and set forth in the attachment hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, and the Clerk of said City is
hereby directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California,
forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 18th day of June, 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:

The Central Marin Sanitation Agency, a Public Agency, hereby grants to
the City of San Rafael, a Municipal Corporation, the real property in the
City of San Rafael, County of Marin,'State of California described as follows:
Andersen Drive Extension
Roadway Right-of-way and Slope Easement
That certain real property situate in the County of Marin, State of
California, described as follows:
A public roadway right-of-way, being a portion of the lands described
in those certain deeds from Sanitary District No. 1 of Marin County to the
Central Marin Sanitation Agency recorded April 24, 1981 as Recorder's Serial
No. 81-018084 and September 29, 1983 as Recorder's Serial No. 83-048935,
Official Records of Marin County, more particularly described as follows:
Parcel A - Road Right -of -Way
BEGINNING at a point on the northwesterly property line of the Lands of
the Central Marin Sanitation Agency (formerly the Lands of Farrell, O'Keefe
Properties), said point being distant South 41° 27' 16" West 282.62 feet from
the most northerly corner of the parcel designated as the Lands of Farrell,
O'Keefe Properties as shown on that certain map entitled "Record of Survey of
Lands Described in Book 3371 Official Records Page 465 and Book 3371 Official
Records Page 471 Marin County Records City of San Rafael Marin County Cali-
fornia," recorded March 7, 1979 in Book 15 of Surveys at Page 58, Official
Records of Marin County, thence leaving said northwesterly property line and
running from said POINT OF BEGINNING on a non -tangent curve to the right with
a radius of 110 feet, the center of which bears South 69° 21' 24" West through
a central angle of 51° 08' 36" for an arc distance of 98.19 feet; thence
South 30° 30' West 64.50 feet; thence on a tangent curve to the left with a
radius of 205 feet through a central angle of 42° 22' for an arc distance of
151.58 feet; thence South 11° 52' East 53.54 feet; thence on a curve to the
right with a radius of 135 feet through a central angle of 35° 12' for an arc
distance of 82.94 feet; thence South 23° 20' West 49.06 feet; thence on a
tangent curve to the left with a radius of 280 feet through a central angle
of 52° 50' for an arc distance of 258.19 feet to a point of compound curva-
ture, said property herinafter referred to a Point "B"; thence along a tan-

tangent curve to the left with a radius of 190 feet through a central angle
of 60° 13' for an arc distance of 199.69 feet to a point of compound curva-
ture; thence on a tangent curve to the left wirh a radius of 363 feet, through
a central angle of 28° 38' for an arc distance of 181.41 feet; thence South
81° 36' East 158.66 feet; thence on a tangent curve to the right with a
radius of 110 feet through a central angle of 40° 22' for an arc distance of

thence on a non -tangent curve to the left, the center of which bears South
54° 39' West with a radius of 315 feet through a central angle of 29° 19' for

a tangent curve to the right with a radius of 235 feet through a central

Containing an area of 4.2 acres, more or less.
Together with a slope easement over the following described parcel of

and running thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the southerly roadway
right-of-way described hereinbefore on a non -tangent curve to the right with
a radius of 110 feet, the center of which bears South 69° 21' 24" West through
a central angle of 51° 08' 36" for an arc distance of 98.19 feet; thence
South 30° 30' West 64.50 feet; thence on a tangent curve to the left with a
radius of 205 feet through a central angle of 42° 22' for an arc distance of
151.58 feet; thence South 11° 52' East 53.54 feet; thence on a curve to the

Marin Sanitation Agency; running thence along said northwesterly property
line of the Central Marin Sanitation Agency North 41° 27' 16" East 251.67
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing an area of 2.75 acres, more or less.
Reserving therefrom a sanitary sewer easement for the construction and
maintenance of sanitary sewer facilities over, on, or under a strip of land
40 feet wide, lying 20 feet on each side of the following described line:
Sanitary Easement
BEGINNING at a point of compound curvature on the southerly right-of-way
line described in Parcel A hereinabove, said point being distant thereon
11.73 feet from Point "B" as described hereinabove, running thence from said
POINT OF BEGINNING North 39° 11' 50" East 80 feet, more or less, to the
northerly right-of-way line described hereinabove.
Containing an area of 3,520 square feet, more or less.
Easement Reservation
Also reserving an easement under the above described road right-of-way
for sewer and utility purposes.
