CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
BOB HOFFMANN
WHEREAS, Bob Hoffmann was appointed to the Downtown Ad Hoc Retail
Committee in November 1983 to help identify and preserve
and enhance downtown retail development; and
WHEREAS, the Committee met over a period of a year to discuss down-
town physical environment and land uses, traffic, parking,
transit, City policies and regulations, and strategies to
promote and enhance downtown retail growth; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has prepared and administered an important
consumer survey to identify the downtown retail shopper and
that consumer's attitude about downtown; and
WIiEREAS, the Committee has completed its final report making recom-
mendations to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael thanks Committee members for their contributions
in helping to retain downtown San Rafael as a prime retail
center in Marin County.
