RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING TWO AND TEN HOUR
PARKING METER LIMITS ON TAMALPAIS AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 5.60.020 of the San Rafael Municipal
Code, authorizes the City Engineer to install parking meters in
parking meter zones for the control of parking and as directed by
Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that certain
portions of Tamalpais Avenue need to have the on -street parking
regulated by parking meters for efficient utilization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
a. Both sides of Tamalpais Avenue, east of the Northwestern Pacific
Railroad tracks, between Fourth Street and Mission Avenue, be
established as metered on -street parking with a two hour limit.
b. Both sides of Tamalpais Avenue, west of the Northwestern Pacific
Railroad tracks, between Fifth Avenue and Mission Avenue, be established
as metered on -street parking with a ten hour limit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective upon the installation of each meter.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 18th day of June, 1984, by the following vote,to
wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
