RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING STAFF
TO APPLY FOR SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION GRANT FOR JOHN ROLOFF SCULPTURE ON
THE FALKIRK GROUNDS
WHEREAS, Falkirk Community Cultural Center is the site of a large
site-specific sculpture by John Roloff entitled Collision/Lava Ship/
Trellis Ship; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to reimburse the artist for expenses
beyond the original Inter -Arts "Small Projects Award"; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to complete landscaping and planting
on the immediate sculpture site; and
WHEREAS, the San Francisco Foundation has expressed interest in funding
those needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby authorizes staff to apply for funds from the San Francisco Foundation
for the John Roloff sculpture, Collision/Lava Ship/Trellis Ship on the Falkirk
grounds.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Von[ the
sixth day of August, 1984, by the following vote, to wit:
