RESOLUTION REMOVING ONE (1) FOOT NON -ACCESS STRIP
FROM THE SOUTHWESTERLY TERMINUS OF CHANNING WAY
AS SHOWN ON THE RECORD SUBDIVISION MAP OF "MARIN
PROFESSIONAL CENTER UNIT 3"
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission and City Council
have heretofore approved the subdivision map of "Marin Professional
Center Unit 3"; and
WHEREAS, said subdivision map of "Marin Professional Center
Unit 3" was recorded on November 1, 1960 in Volume 10 of Maps at
Page 85, Marin County Records; and
WHEREAS, the Record Subdivision Map of "Marin Professional
Center Unit 3" in the City of San Rafael, shows a one (1) foot non -
access strip adjacent to the southwesterly terminus of Channing Way; and
WHEREAS, the owner of Channing Crest, a proposed thirty-two
unit apartment complex, has requested that said one(1) foot non -access
strip be removed to allow access to said development; and
WHEREAS, said one (1) foot non -access strip would currently
preclude access to the proposed Channing Crest Development; and
WHEREAS, staff concurs in the need to remove said one (1)
foot non -access strip;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that certain one (1) foot
non -access strip adjacent to the southwesterly terminus of Channing Way
shown on the Recorded Subdivision Map of "Marin Professional Center
Unit 3" be and the same is hereby removed.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 15th day of October, 1984, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Nave, Russom and Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
