RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL CERTIFYING
THAT PROJECT IMPACTS ARE ADEQUATELY ADDRESSED IN THE PROJECT NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR THE 900 FIFTH AVENUE OFFICE BUILDING
WHEREAS, an Initial Environmental Study was prepared in accordance with State
EIR Guidelines to assess potential environmental impacts of the proposal; and
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1984, the City Council found that there is no sub-
stantial evidence in the record showing that the project may have significant effects
on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that project impacts are adequately addressed
in the project's Initial Study/Negative Declaration with the following findings:
1. The Initial Study/Negative Declaration identified no potential signifi-
cant environmental impacts in that sufficient on-site parking would be provided for
the proposed use; the intensity of development would be similar to surrounding uses;
and traffic impacts would be consistent with the previous site uses.
2. Appropriate conditions of approval will be required with UP84-8 and
ED84-14 to ensure that housing impacts are mitigated and the project is built as
evaluated in the Initial Study/Negative Declaration.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Monday , the 15th day of
October , 1984, by the following vote, to wit:
