RESOLUTION NO. 6952
`
COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF
CITY ATTORNEY PETER J. MUZIO
WHEREAS, PETER MUZIO was elected to the position
of City
Attorney for the City of San Rafael
by an
overwhelming majority in November, 1983; and
�.
WHEREAS, in the short space of eleven months as the City
Attorney, PETER MUZIO brought to the
office
renewed confidence, prestige and respect,
through
�
his grasp of municipal law and working
of city
government, his intelligence, wit and
strong
sense of professional ethics; and
WHEREAS,
PETER endeared himself to City Council and
Department Heads as an intelligent and warm
human being; and
WHEREAS, PETER MUZIO's untimely death on Mt. Shasta has
left the City with a deep sense of personal
loss and sorrow, both professionally and
personally.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE) that the San Rafael City
Council expresses its sincerest appreciation
for PETER MUZIO's outstanding service to the
community, and expresses its deepest sorrow
to the Muzio family for their loss.
