PRESENTS THIS
TO
JEFFREY STAHL
WHEREAS,
The San Rafael City Council appointed JEFFREY STAHL
to the Park and Recreation Commission on October 4,
1976, having knowledge of his interest and experi-
ence in the park and recreation field; and
WHEREAS,
During his eight years on the Commission he donated
his valuable time and energy and brought insight to
the Commission on the problems and suggested solu-
tions to the complex recreation needs of the Canal
Community and ably represented the Canal area as
well as the other areas of the city by working to
protect and enhance the city-wide recreation programs,
parks and faciliites; and
WHEREAS,
Jeff served as Chairman of the Park and Recreation
Commission and displayed a high quality of leader-
ship and guidance; and
WHEREAS,
While Jeff is retiring from an active role on the
Park and Recreation Commission, he will continue
to work toward meeting the community's needs as a
Board member of the Canal Community Alliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
commend JEFFREY STAHL and express sincere thanks
for his dedicated and diligent service to the
City of San Rafael.
