RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING MARIN HERITAGE TO APPLY FOR AND RECEIVE A $5,000
MATCHING GRANT FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION FOR GLAZING OF
THE FALKIRK GREENHOUSE
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael is the owner of the
Falkirk Community Cultural Center, a nationally registered
historic lankmark; and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage is a group whose purpose is to
preserve the architectural heritage of Marin County; and
WHEREAS, the City has granted Marin Heritage permission
to restore the greenhouse on the Falkirk grounds; and
WHEREAS, Marin Heritage intends to request $5,000 in
matching funds from the San Francisco Foundation for the glazing
of the greenhouse.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby authorizes Marin Heritage to apply
for and receive $5,000 in matching funds from the San Francisco
Foundation for the glazing of the Falkirk greenhouse.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of -San
Rafael hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on Monday the
Nineteenth day of November , 1984, by the following
vote, to wit:
