MICHAEL MITCHELL
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of December, 1984, Michael Mitchell will
retire after 33 years of service to the citizens of Marin
County, 22 years as the County Auditor/Controller; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mitchell has done an exceptional job as watch dog
protecting the County of Marin's interests; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mitchell has always respected the citizens' right to
know what is going on in County government; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mitchell has assisted f4arin cities with helpful infor-
mation concerning the changing laws affecting our revenues.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
expresses its sincere appreciation for Mike Mitchell's fine
work and best wishes for a long, happy and healthy retirement.
