RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE SLOPE AND DRAINAGE
EASEMENT IN EAST SAN RAFAEL (GRANGE PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, it appears that the easement hereinafter described
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby elects to proceed under the PUBLIC SERVICE
EASEMENTS VACATION LAv] of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Calif-
ornia, hereby declares its intention to close, vacate and abandon
the easement hereinafter described;
3. That Monday, the 7th day of February, 1983 at 8:00
o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers at the City Hall in the City
of San Rafael, California, is hereby set as the time and place for
hearing all persons interested in the proposed closing, abandoning
and vacation of said easement;
4. That the Department of Public Works of the City of San
Rafael shall post conspicuously notices of easement vacation along
the line of the said easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and
vacated, which notices shall be posted not more than three hundred
(300) feet apart but at least three (3) notices shall be posted as to
each such easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and vacated. The
said notice shall state the time and place of the hearing, as herein-
above provided, and the adoption of the within resolution of intention;
5. That said easement proposed to be closed, abandoned and
vacated 1S described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference;
6. That a map or plan showing said easement proposed to be
closed, abandoned and vacated is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of San Rafael at the City Hall, San Rafael,
California.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 3rd day of January,

DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED
IN EAST SAN R~FAEL (GRANGE PROPERTY)
3~' X 30' SLOPE & DRAINAGE EASEMENT
A parcel of land, 30.00 feet square, lying northeasterly of and
contiguous to the southwesterly line of that certain 4~00 acre tract of
land described as Parcel Two in the deed to Marin Development Co.,
recorded March 23, 1956 in Volume 1016, page 24, Offical Records of
Marin County, the northwesterly 'line of said 30.00 foot square parcel
being parallel with and distant 148.71 feet, southeasterly, at right
angles, from the .northwesterly line of said Parcel Two, (OR 1016, p. 24).
