PRESENTS THIS

VIVIAN BYERS
WHEREAS, VIVIAN BYERS, after giving sixteen years of devoted
service as the Secretary for four Finance Directors, will
retire on February 28, 1983; and
vlHEREAS, as the "voice" of the Finance Department, she has always
been most courteous and helpful to the general public;
and
WHEREAS, during her tenure as Finance Department Secretary, she has
gone above and beyond the call of duty to create a warm
and friendly environment around her; and
WHEREAS, during many of the past sixteen years she has served her
fellow employees as Secretary of the San Rafael Employees
Association; and
WHEREAS, in her capacity as Finance Department Secretary she has
been a very conscientious and loy~l employee who gave many
unpaid extra hours of her time to her job.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, in grateful acknowledgement of VIVIAN BYERS'
outstanding record of service to the City of San Rafael,
its employees, and residents, expresses sincere appreci-
ation and best wishes for a very long, happy and
healthful retirement.
