RESOLUTION NO. 6502
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING APPLI-
CATION TO STATE OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael Public Works Department has
obtained a microcomputer and traffic related hardware and software,
and;
WHEREAS, the establishment of a comprehensive data base of
traffic information on this computer system will greatly improve
the effectiveness of this Department, and;
WHEREAS, the California Office of Traffic Safety has tenta-
tively approved a project to fund a one year Assistant Civil Engineer
and equipment to assemble this data and perform other traffic safety
related work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works Director
with the Traffic Engineer as Project Manager, is authorized to make
a formal application to the OTS as outlined in the City's memorandum
proposal.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on the 4th day of April, 1983, by the following vote, to wit:
