MIRIAM P. MARTIN
WHEREAS, Miriam P. Martin after giving sixteen years of devoted
service as a Children's Librarian of the San Rafael Public
Library has retired; and
WHEREAS, She has consistently been conscientious, courteous, and
helpful in her dealings with fellow employees and the general
public; and
WHEREAS, In her capacity as a Children's Librarian she has dedicated
herself to the highest standards of professional excellence;

WHEREAS, She bas gone above and beyond the call of duty in planning
special events and programs for children; and
WHEREAS, In the performance of her duties she has shown her love and
dedication to the children of San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFOl{l~, I3E IT RESOLVED tha t the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
San Rafael, in grateful acknowledgment of MIRIAM P.
MAHTIN'S outstanding record of service to the City of
San Rafael, its employees and residents, expresses
sincere appreciation and best wishes for a very long, happy
and healthful retirement.
