A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF RADIO COMMUNICA-
TION EQUIPMENT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS, FIRE &
POLICE DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, the San Ra f ae l City Council authorized City Staff to solicit bids
for Radio Communication Equipment for the Public Works, Fire and Police Departments;
and
vJHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were so l icited for this equip-
ment; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been received by the City Staff and evaluated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that all bids
with amounts less than the recommended amounts be rejected, as they do not meet the
specifications, and the following actions be taken:
1. That Radio Communications of San Rafael be designated as low bidder for
radio equipment, as outlined in Exhibit "A" attached, for a total of
$8,872.12.
2. That Motorola C. & E., Inc., of Santa Rosa be designated as lower bidder
for radio equipment, as outlined in Exhibit "A" attached for a total of
$13,725.89.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
