WHEREAS, on the 29th day of March, 1983, JAMES MANHA of Greenbrae
successfully administered Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
to Isabel Bartley of Rohnert Park; and
WHEREAS, J AMES ~IANIIA, seei ng a crowd gather around a down ed
citizen, rushed to the scene to offer assistance; and
WHEREAS, being recently trained in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
perfurmed C.P.R. maintaining an airway providing oxygen
and blood circulation until arrival of the San Rafael
Paramedics.
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael extends
to JAMES MANilA sincere appreciation for his quick action and
willingness to perform an unselfish act in a time of need.
